Builds confidence in past tense writing, sequencing, and personal voice while making literacy learning culturally meaningful. This is a great resource to put on display that shows that you are fulfilling ‘cultural awareness’ criteria for the region. I used this resource to teach support students. I put the posters on the wall and then once a week would go through the presentation adapting as needed to prepare them for a writing class. Beginning with speaking, modeled writing, the students showed huge progress. #personal narrative, #recount writing, #my weekend, #KS1 writing,#KS2 writing, #EAL writing, #UAE schools, #Qatar schools, #Kuwait schools, #writing scaffold
